David Kitchens is a founding member of KKG. He has been practicing law in Atlanta since graduating from Emory University's law school in 1976.

David has earned a strong reputation in the field of commercial real estate and real estate leasing. Most of his work focuses on shopping centers. He is frequently hired by national developers and tenants to draft and negotiate leases, analyze and handle lease disputes and address a myriad of development and landlord/tenant issues involving shopping center properties all over the United States. David was the ICSC Georgia State Director from 2003-2006 and is a frequent speaker at ICSC and State Bar of Georgia programs. His early practice experience was as a business litigator and he continues to utilize that experience by also helping KKG's clients resolve their business disputes through negotiation, mediation and arbitration. David's clients include national, regional and local real estate property owners and developers and managers, both publically and privately owned.

David is a native of Lanett, Alabama. He is married and has two children. When not in the office, David enjoys sailing, fly fishing, hiking and golfing with his family and friends.
