Joel Arogeti joined KKG as a shareholder in 1996. He has over 20 years of experience. Joel's practice concentrates in the areas of business law and estate planning. Joel also advises clients in matters relating to Premium Finance Life Insurance and Viatical Settlements. He received his undergraduate degree from The George Washington University and served on the staff of Congressman Elliott H. Levitas. After graduating from Emory University's School of Law, Joel worked as an enforcement attorney for the Securities and Exchange Commission. He also practiced law in Washington, D.C. before returning to Atlanta where he had been engaged in the private practice of law. Joel joined KKG as a shareholder in 1996. In addition to his active business law and estate planning practice, Joel serves as an arbitrator of civil securities disputes for FINRA and the SEC.
Joel has extensive contacts in the community, and he is widely recognized for his leadership strengths. Joel's community involvement includes service on the Board of Directors of and Chair of the Audit Committee of Private Bank of Buckhead, Leadership Atlanta's Class of 2008, Past President and Board Member of Congregation Or Ve Shalom, as well as having served as a director of The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta, The Epstein School of Atlanta, The Louis Kahn Group Home, Hillel of Georgia, and the Atlanta Chapter of the American Jewish Committee. Currently Joel serves on the Board of Directors for Hosea Feed The Hungry. |
