Biography

Mark Kelley, a founding shareholder of KKG, has been practicing law since 1979. His practice is focused on commercial litigation and the representation of creditors, especially landlords, in commercial bankruptcies. Mark represents many shopping center and mall owners in cases involving the full extent of the legal issues relating to their business operations - including issues relating to enforcement of leases and guaranties, operating covenants, lease renewals, lease options, collection of rents and complicated constitutional law issues relating to freedom of speech and public/private access. His commercial litigation practice also includes the prosecution and defense of claims relating to the enforcement of all forms of contracts and debt instruments, business torts and shareholder disputes.

Mark was graduated from Emory University in 1976. During his attendance at Duke University School of Law, where he attained his J.D. in 1979, Mark was a member of the Duke Law Journal. He has practiced law in Atlanta since 1979. When not working, Mark enjoys reading, golf and spending time with his family.
