Biography

Bryan Kaplan joined KKG as a Shareholder in 2015.  His practice is focused on commercial creditor’s rights in the State and Federal Courts of Alabama and Georgia, commercial litigation and collections, commercial leasing of personal and real property, construction, and insurance contracts.  Prior to joining KKG, Bryan worked for eight years in his father’s law firm in Columbus, GA and Atlanta, GA.

Bryan received his J.D. from The Cumberland School of Law in 2005 and his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002.  He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals – 11th Circuit, the U.S. District Court, Middle and Northern Districts of Alabama and Georgia, and state trial and appellate courts of Alabama and Georgia.  As a law student, Bryan served as an editor of the Cumberland Law Review and interned for the Hon. John T. Laney, Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Middle District of Georgia, the Hon. Duross Fitzpatrick, Judge of the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Georgia, the Hon. Sharon L. Blackburn, Judge of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Alabama, and the Hon. Tamara O. Mitchell, Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Alabama.

When not in the office, Bryan enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, and his two children as well as boating, saltwater fly-fishing, and traveling.
